Hilton Worldwide has opened the AQABA Jordan Hilton Hotel in the Jordanian capital, Aqaba, the first hotel in Jordan. Hilton Worldwide announces the launch of a new hotel at Al-Qa'aba International Airport, the world's second largest airport, and the commencement of construction of the first of two new hotels in Qatar.
Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Dead Sea Resorts (PSC) to build the hotel, which is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2013, complementing the existing hotel at Aqaba International Airport, the first of two new hotels in Qatar. The hotel will host the world's first 1,000-room Hilton Hotel and is part of a multi-million dollar project to combine the new hotel with a state-of-the-art meeting facility famous for hosting the largest conference and business meetings in the Middle East and North Africa (MNA).
